📏 How to Measure Your Head for a Wig

Getting the right fit starts with the right measurements. Luckily, it’s easy—and you only need a soft tape measure and a mirror.

Here are the three key measurements we use to ensure your wig fits securely and comfortably:

1. Circumference
Wrap the tape measure around your head, starting at your natural hairline. Continue around the base of your head, behind your ears, and back to the front.
Tip: Keep the tape snug but not tight.

2. Front to Nape
Place the tape measure at the center of your forehead, right at your hairline. Bring it straight back over the top of your head until you reach the end of your hairline at the nape of your neck.

3. Ear to Ear (Over the Top)
Start about ¼ inch above one ear. Bring the tape measure over the top of your head and stop ¼ inch above your other ear.
This measures the width and helps with proper lace placement and cap construction.
