Before washing, carefully brush out any knots with a flexible-bristled brush before washing.
Place wig on a styrofoam head to wash. Use T-pins to secure it on the head. Never place pins directly into the wig's lace or scalp. It can create holes.
NEVER scrub the lace top, silk top, or lace front of the wig. Instead pat these sections to wash.
Wet the wig thoroughly and gently wash twice using a color safe, phostphate free shampoo.
If you would like to condition your wig, apply conditioner to the wefted part of your wig. NEVER put conditioner on the lace top, silk top, or lace front of the wig.
Rinse your wig completely so that all shampoo and conditioner are out of the hair.
Lightly wring out the wig to remove excess water and then wrap it in a towel for a few minutes.
Remove the wig from the towel and gently brush through the hair. If any tangles remain, spray with detangling spray and brush out.
