Every LENA Hand-Tied Wig includes our customization process, with expert guidance available along the way. Lena offers a variety of virtual appointments for every step of the process- from choosing your wig, to marking your hairline, to the final unboxing.

1. Choose Your Wig

2. Try It On at Home

Your wig arrives uncustomized so you can confirm the color, length, texture, and fit before any permanent changes are made.

During the try-on period, do not cut the lace or hair, wash or color the wig, apply styling products, or have it altered by another stylist.

3. Set Up Your Customer Portal

You’ll receive instructions for creating an account in our customer portal. There, you’ll find step-by-step guidance for marking your hairline, taking the required photos, and submitting your measurements.

You can also select additional customization options, such as face-framing highlights or a touch of silver.

4. Prepare Your Wig for Customization

Your order includes a water-soluble marker for marking your hairline directly on the lace.

Follow the instructions in your customer portal to trace your natural hairline or draw the hairline you prefer, take photos, and provide any measurements needed for cap tailoring.

5. Send Your Wig Back to Lena's

Use the included prepaid return label to send your wig back to us. Our artisans will customize the hairline according to your markings and tailor the cap if needed.

6. Meet With Our Stylist

Once the hairline customization is complete, you’ll receive an email inviting you to schedule a virtual consultation with our stylist. Together, you’ll discuss your preferred cut, length, shape, and style.

7. Receive Your Finished Wig

Once the cut and customization are complete, your wig will be shipped back to you.

Unless you request otherwise, we will leave the lace intact until you have confirmed that you are happy with the hairline. We will mark where the lace should be cut. You can also schedule a virtual unboxing appointment with Lena for extra guidance.

8. Make Any Final Adjustments

Your customization includes up to two rounds of additional adjustments within two months of receiving your finished wig. Adjustments may be made to the cut, fit, and hairline. You'll submit your adjustment through the customer portal, and receive a shipping label.
